"Ad people were a people who were very powerful, 40 feet tall, 800 to 900 years old, neither getting old nor sick, neither deaf nor blind, young and strong, only death came to them and nothing else.


Allah sent Hazrat Hud (peace be upon him) to them. He invited them to the call of Allah, but they said, "O Hud! Our gods have made your mind corrupt." Go and read your horoscope and do not be afraid of us. What will happen if we leave our father's religion and become a big good Muslim on your sayings? They said, "Shirk and injustice and the storm of wrongdoing."


As for 'Ad, they were arrogant on earth without right and said, "Who is stronger than us in power?" Did they not see that Allah who created them was more powerful than them in power? But they denied Our signs.
